I need to clean metal blinds and don’t want to remove them from the window how should this be done?
if it’s just dust use a swiffer duster
if its cleaning cleaning spray a cloth with cleaner (windex should be fine) and wipe but its a long process if you have a lot of them

If they’re 1" blinds, the cost today is low enough where you’re better off going out and just replace them, who has the time and the patience to do that today?
Throw them out and buy new ones, and you’re good for the next 8-10 years.

It’s much easier to take them down to do it. Buy a couple of large S hooks at your local hardware store. Hang the S hooks over a shower curtain rod on the inside of the shower/tub, of course. Hang the blind from the S hooks. Clean away until you’re satisfied. Dry as best you can. Either allow them to finish drying in the shower/tub or hang them back up in the window. Now wash the window.
