I have fitted roller blinds to the front of my caravan, but the window has a slope away from the inside of the frame so that the blinds hang straight down, they do not actually cover the window there is a gap of about 6inches at the bottom..
I cannot figure out a way to hold them close to the glass.
i have tried fixing them upside down, but that did not work.
I cannot fasten anything across the width as there is also a curve on the front of the van.
Any bright suggestions ?

Thanks for the velcro suggestion. I have already tried it and the heat on the front of the van dries the glue.
The channelling idea sounds good, but where can I buy it. We have B & Q about 20 miles away, or can I get it online. Thanks.
Thanks to everybody, I have purchased the channelling, and will do the job this weekend.
I have also contacted AMO about having some custom made blinds.
attach to each side a U shaped channel metal with the blind inside this to keep it in place.
easy job.
You can bend and mold the channel to shape if you use aluiminum channel. it comes in silver, gold and bronze.

A ring and a hook to hook the blind back.
Sticky backed velcro.

there is 2 methods 1.the hardest is to fit runners that the blind fits in to the second is simply attach Velcro to the curtains and the van it works on my vw camper i was suffering the same problem

I’ll assume this is for privacy when you might stop at a camp site, etc.
In a similar situation in a home for example the BLIND can be anchored at a base with hardware specific for the purpose. If this is a DIY project you might have to fabricate some sort of base/anchor system. Perhaps as easy as heavy duty velcro, or magnets. Neither would have to have permanent attachments to the vehicle.
I don’t own such a vehicle, but I’m surprised that the industry hasn’t come up with devices for such purposes…OR HAVE THEY???

Use a velux type blind available from AMO BLINDS at Liversidge West Yorkshire. They come within a small frame and are really light efficient having a blackout backing. You should be able to find them on the internet. Liversidge is near Wakefield. They are great people to deal with and will probably have an outlet or dealer near you.

I have dealt with them for around 15 years.
Channeling is the only way you can get the effect that you want. If you go to a DIY store and buy some self adhesive electrical channeling you can get it in various widths and sizes in white plastic and use the channeling without the cover
as they are self adhesive this could be the perfect answer.

Have used this method and it worked.
