trimming roller blinds?

how do you trim an inch off the width of roller blinds?
Is there a company that I can take them to. blinds are not newly purchased so I can’t get the store I bought them from to do it.

Ummm, well I have mine done at Lowes when I buy them, but what they do is they have a machine. Basically they take the end cap out of both ends, stick it on a rod with a cutter at one end and spin the blind to trim. I would try a hack saw to trim one at home. Put it in a vice and trim. Or a circular saw should work too. The core on those is cardboard, has been for the last 10-15 years. I would think a circular saw would give you a cleaner edge. Should work okay. Good luck.

Oh, to get the caps out just use a flat screw driver and pop them out.
