I have brought roman blinds from Laura Ashley. The blinds have a plastic bracket, does anyone have any idea how the plastic bracket fits or ‘clips’ onto the actual blind? It does not have the same metal bracket that venetian blinds have. Laura Ashley have included a fitting guide, but it’s not much help! Either that or I am incredibly lame! Help!!

I don’t have that brand but I have some with a metal bracket. The bracket is sort of U shaped. the most open part of the bracket faces the front – faces you. The back of the bracket where it gets screwed to the wall has 4 holes for screws. The top part of the bracket has a couple little down facing protrusions that go into the track of the shade frame top. The shade slides into the side of the bracket. There is a set screw on the bottom of the bracket to hold the shade in place.
It is hard to describe! I hope this helps.
