How would you either glue material onto vertical blinds or hang sheers off their clips? ?

I bought some white vertical blinds awhile back but after they were up for awhile I didn’t like them as much.
I’m wondering if I could somehow glue some material onto the slats themselves or possibly hang sheers/light material off the blind clips after removing the blinds.
Has anyone done either of these things before?
Any suggestions as to which would be best? I don’t want to buy new blinds!
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions or "How To’s"!

I don’t think either one would work very well. I’d give up on the blinds if I really didn’t like them and just get some other window covering.

I’ve seen this done on hgtv. They use any spray adhesive.

I wouldn’t try it, though. To me, it’s a lot more work than buying new coverings, and, depending on what material you use, could be a LOT more expensive
