How to download and install themes into your Window Blinds in Vista (HD)

Download themes from http://www.wincustomize.com and install them right into your WIndow blinds software. There are tons of custom themes on that site!

If you are having issues with your theme reverting to Windows Classic or 98, try this:
- Open up Impulse, go to your software tab, and see if there are updates for WIndowblinds. A lot of the time you just need to update the software!

- Make sure Windows is up to date and that you have the latest service pack installed. Check Windows Update. If you’re not seeing the latest service pack in Windows Update, just google Vista SP1 or SP2, and download from the official Microsoft TechNet web site.

- If all else fails, e-mail Stardock’s tech-support!

	@Chizunin – what do … @Chizunin – what do yah mean by “remove”.. uninstalling it or just unuse? if unstalling use Tune*up Utilities much safer. Unuse it by just right clicking WB icon at the taskbar then click “unload WB..”

	just right click WB … just right click WB icon on your taskbar then click “unload windowsblinds..”. it’ll restore your windows theme default. otherwise, uninstalling it,use Tuneup Utilities, much safer..

	@schumit7 Impulse … @schumit7 Impulse is the program that you download all Stardock apps through. Once you buy them from their site, they’ll ask you to install Impulse to be able to have access to them (unless you ordered a CD). You’ll get all updates for the programs through Impulse as well.

	Have you fixed this … Have you fixed this issue yet? If not try opening up Impulse, check for updates for your WindowBlinds. A lot of people are finding they just need to update it. Also make sure your Vista is up to date with the latest service pack.

	also I should add … also I should add that that only works assuming the pack you download has all of the skins in their own folders with all the files already unpacke..if you just have a bunch of .wba files I think you’ll have to do them one at a time but I’m not positive.

yup you can…find …
yup you can…find where you’re themes are on your disk (by default in vista I think it’s in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds – or check where yours are by clicking delete skin in wb and when it asks you to confirm it will show you the path)….just paste your skins in that folder. If they don’t show up, in wb click Skin Options > Rebuild list. Hope that helps!

	not at all for me, … not at all for me, though as you can see some of the commentors have had some issues, not sure if they’re vista specific though. It looks like wb7 just came out that’s even already working for windows 7 so I’d definitely go with the latest version if you do decide to buy it. if anything, do the trial to see how it works out for ya.

	that’s strange, … that’s strange, that’s what I’m using too, and I have like all the visual effects turned off in vista. I would say maybe uninstall wb and try a fresh install. also do you meet these specs? Minimum screen resolution: 1024 width and 768 height 60MB free drive space 256MB RAM

	are you in xp or … are you in xp or vista? also does it do it with all the skins you try? make sure the skins you’re installing are specifically for your xp or vista (whichever you have).
