The brackets have little doors on them that latch. After you take off the front valance, just lift them up and the blind headrail slides right out.

Lighter fluid. Bic flick. Hell to clean up though. No, seriously—it’s mounted in brackets. Find the screws and remove bracket,—slide blinds out.

Done thousands of them.

They should be put up with screws. Get a screw driver and a friend to help hold while you unscrew each screw that goes into the window or wall. You do not have to dissemble the blinds themselves. It shouldn’t take but a few minutes to do, if it takes longer, your taking out the wrong screws.

If they are nailed, use a pry bar and a piece of wood behind it to protect the walls.

Good luck!!
